Description

Discover Scuba Diving also known short as DSD, is a first-time dive experience for non-certified adults and children aged 10+. This course introduces you to the basics of scuba diving without certifying you as a diver. The DSD course will teach you the basics of diving in a detailed briefing, confined water practice in a swimming pool, and two open water dives. You’ll also be shown simple skills from the Open Water Diver course. The DSD is a one-day course. If you loved your first experience underwater and you would like to dive more frequently, you should think about getting your OWD Open Water Diver certification.

 

Academic

The PADI DSD course consists of two phases:

• Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills (2 hours).

• Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore.

 

Equipment

In the PADI DSD course, you'll learn how to use basic scuba equipment, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, and tank.
